Risa Mizuno, a Japanese girl, embraced Islam for what she saw of the tolerance and the good manners of a Muslim family.
Riza embraced Islam in late November (2015), after she was convinced of Islam by her Muslim fiancé. She knew Islam for the first time when she was student in Malaysia and she spent three days in Muslim family house, in Kuala Lumpur.
Umar Ibn Al Khattab said:
“Invite people to Islam even without words.” They asked: “How?” He replied “With your Manners.”
Mizono fasted Ramadan this year in the beginning of the summer in Japan, She regularly prays in Tokyo Camii (the Turkish mosque of Tokyo) since she reverted to Islam eight months ago.
Inspiring stories like these should remind us how we are all ambassadors of Islam no matter how much we know about it or where ever we may be.
In the Qur’ān (2:143), Allah talks about how the Muslim community should be role models for the rest to look to up to.
Thus, We (Allah) have appointed you a model community (The Muslim Ummah), that you may be witnesses against mankind, and that the Messenger may be a witness against you.
