Shaykh Dr. Muhammad Salah’s father has passed away due to Covid-19, the Shaykh is still critical

One of the most renowned scholars and owner of Huda TV, Dr. Muhammad Salah’s father Salah Omar passed today on Friday after battling prolonged illness due to COVID-19, the entire family of Dr. Salah has been struck with the deadly pandemic.

Inna lilahi wa inna elayhi rajeoun.

Still, according to the verified page of Dr. Salah, he himself is very critical and under serious observation in the ICU. While his father Salah Omar passed away after battling COVID-19 in ICU.

According to the reports, the entire family of the shaykh tested positive for the virus.

Here is a statement posted by the official team of Muhammad Salah on his social media handles on Thursday night:

“Update on the Shaykh’s health condition

The shaykh has become slightly better but still very unwell…

The shaykh and his family appreciate your duas and messages, and they apologize for not being able to get back to you.

May Allah shower the shaykh and his family with his blessings, speed their recovery and make this illness a reason to elevate their status in Jannah Ameen.

May Allah cure all those who are ill and grant them all full recovery Ameen.”

After this, another post was posted on his social media handles on Friday Night (AM):

“Inna lillahi wa inna elayhee rajioon

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we bring to you the sad news of the passing of the father of our dear Shaykh, an hour ago.

O Allah, our father Salah Omar is under Your safety, protection, and seek Your forgiveness. Make him firm during the questioning and examination in the grave and save him from the torment of the Fire.

Indeed, You do not break Your promise and You are worthy of the truth. O Allah, forgive him and be merciful to him. You are Oft-Forgiving of sins and Most Merciful by accepting acts of obedience and multiplying rewards.

May Allah give the Shaykh and his family sabr and speed their recovery, Ameen”

The pandemic continues to test many amongst and we have to continue to seek Allah’s mercy, there’s no other option. Oh Allāh, we rely upon You alone to rectify our affairs and shower Your rahma upon us.
