There are some who would find this funny and cute. Then there will be some who say why didn’t the father just stopped the prayer and go to another place. While there are others who will say as long as the parrot wasn’t attacking them they were right to continue praying. But the concentration in the Salah (prayer) was clearly lost and one would have to feel sorry for the child who was clearly fearing the worst.

For the record, hitting animals unnecessarily is not allowed in Islam. Hope the father gave some form of teaching to his son to how better to handle the situation if it happens next time.
