Islam is the key to true happiness in my life, says England’s cricketer Moeen Ali

Moeen Ali became a practicing Muslim from the age of 18-19 years old.

Those in the entertainment arena such as sports have a significant responsibility in terms of how they carry themselves, for they are role models for the youth.

Moeen Ali was interviewed by The Today Programme, where he was asked questions regarding how important Islam is in his life and what does he feel about the level of Islamophobia in Western lands. He says in this video which resonates with the billions of Muslims around the world –

Islam is the key in my life and it had set me free from this world.

Allāh Azzawajal says in the Qur’ān (2:208):

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ادْخُلُوا فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَّةً وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ

O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
